Most ceramic coatings are formulated for one thing: the hard, rigid surface of a clear coat. Put them on a vinyl wrap or paint protection film and you are using them outside what they were designed for, because film moves and flexes in a way paint does not.
Magnite is a hybrid. It is built on SiO₂ combined with polysilazanes and poly-resin rather than SiO₂ alone. It fills the microscopic pores of the surface and binds permanently with it, which is why it covers paint, vinyl wraps, PPF and exterior plastics rather than just one of them.
If your car is wrapped or has PPF, this is the one. Strong UV filtering is the important part here, because UV is what yellows film and fades wrap. A coating with real UV protection over the top is doing the specific job that film needs doing.
On bare gloss paint it delivers a glass-like finish with the sharp, wet reflectivity of the best natural waxes, plus chemical resistance across pH 2 to 13 and a hardened, genuinely slick surface that reduces the micro-scratching you cause yourself washing the car.
The water spot barrier is worth calling out. The formula slows the formation of mineral deposits and, more usefully, makes them far easier to remove when they do appear. Anyone who has watched hard water etch into film knows why that matters.

Magnite or Skyline? Magnite is specified for substrate range: four years across paint, wrap, film and plastics, with the glossiest finish in the range. Skyline is specified for paint depth, using graphene to pull colour saturation out of bare paintwork. Different briefs. Some people run both, Skyline on the paint and Magnite on the wrapped or filmed panels.

Prepare. Wash and decontaminate. Polish the surface to its best condition, then degrease with Finest Wipe or IPA.
Apply. Shake well. Generous amount on the applicator, crosshatch in 50 × 50 cm sections.
Level. Dwell 30 seconds, remove the excess with a clean microfibre, then buff with the dry side.
Second layer. Optional, 30 minutes after the first.
Conditions. Never on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight.
Safety. Wear a protective mask and gloves throughout application.
Cure. Leave the vehicle 24 hours for a full cure.
Storage. Use within 6 months of opening. Keep cool and out of the light to prevent premature crystallisation.
Magnite is a hybrid rated at four years or 50,000 miles and specified by the manufacturer for paint, vinyl wraps, PPF and exterior plastics.
The substrate range is the commercial argument. A wrapped car, a PPF car and a bare paint car are three different jobs that would otherwise need different chemistry, or the same chemistry used optimistically. One product across all three means one SKU, one application method and one honest answer when a customer asks what you are putting on their film.
Attach it to every PPF and wrap installation. The customer has already demonstrated they will pay to protect the car. A four-year coating at the point of install improves the film's own service life through UV filtering, makes maintenance washing easier, and slows water spotting on a surface that is expensive to replace. Yellowing is the failure mode film customers fear, and it is UV driven, which makes this an explainable benefit rather than a cosmetic add-on.
Magnite or Skyline? Magnite is specified for substrate range, Skyline for paint depth. Magnite covers four substrates for four years; Skyline uses graphene to deliver colour saturation on bare paintwork. Two different briefs, and both belong on your board.
