Nexus is the newest ceramic paint coating from ULTRACOAT. In the range it sits between Carbon, with twelve months of protection, and Magnite, with up to four years. Nexus gives you up to two years on paintwork.
The formula combines organic polymers, specialised resins and hydrophobic additives. Together they form a thin, stable protective layer that stands up to the acidic and alkaline cleaners you wash the car with, anywhere from pH 2 to 13.
You see the difference straight away. The paint picks up gloss and the colour looks richer. The surface goes noticeably smoother and slicker, and water gathers into clear beads and runs off. Dirt does not stick as easily, so washing is quicker and the car keeps that freshly cleaned look for longer.
It is made to be easy to apply. Nexus spreads without effort and wipes off smoothly, so you stay in control and end up with an even finish. That matters whether it is your first coating or your fiftieth.
Which one is right for you? If twelve months suits how you use the car, Carbon is the easy, affordable start. If you want the job to last longer without going up to a four-year coating, Nexus gives you two years. If the car is wrapped or has PPF, or you want the longest protection in the retail range, go for Magnite.

Application Guide
Prepare. Wash and decontaminate. Polish if the paint needs it, then degrease with Finest Wipe.
Apply. Shake well. Put a little product on the applicator and spread it in a crosshatch pattern, one small section at a time.
Level. Remove the excess with a clean microfibre, then buff with a second, dry one for an even, streak-free finish.
Conditions. Never on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight.
Safety. Wear a protective mask and gloves throughout application.
Cure. Follow the instructions supplied with the product for curing time and the first wash.

A three-step menu is easier to sell than a two-step one. Carbon for twelve months, Nexus for two years, Magnite or Skyline at the top. The middle option gives the customer a sensible place to land, and it lifts the average job value compared with a menu that jumps straight from entry level to premium.

Technical Application Notes
Prep. Wash, decontaminate, polish to best condition, degrease with Finest Wipe.
Application. Crosshatch in controlled sections with the applicator.

Conditions. Out of direct sunlight, never on hot surfaces.
Cure. Follow the current ULTRACOAT guidance supplied with the product.
