Purple Blaze has a closed-pile structure, meaning the fibres do not open up and hold product. That is the whole reason it works on glass. An open-pile cloth carries residue around and redeposits it, which is why your windscreen looks worse after you clean it than before.
Glass. Interior and exterior, with Glass Cleaner or Superior Glass. No streaks, no smears, no lint left in the corners.
Degreasing. This is the cloth for your Finest Wipe pass before a coating goes on. A cloth that sheds fibres or holds oils will undo the degreasing you just did, and closed pile does neither.

Which cloth do I need?
Yellow Bahama, 250 GSM. The general one. Interior and exterior, everyday work.
Gentle Buff, 320 GSM short-pile. Coating work. Levelling and buffing off ceramic coatings.
Purple Blaze, 320 GSM closed-pile. Glass and degreasing. Streak-free, leaves nothing behind.
Silky Finish, 400 GSM ultra-soft. Polish removal and drying. The softest in the range.
All edgeless Korean microfibre, safe on coated surfaces.
Wash. Separately from other laundry, at 40 °C or below.
Never. Fabric softener, which clogs the fibres and destroys the closed-pile behaviour.
Keep separate. Glass and degreasing cloths should never be used on wheels or interiors.
On the panel wipe stage it matters more than people credit. A cloth that sheds fibres or holds residual oils leaves you degreasing onto a surface you are simultaneously contaminating. Closed pile does neither, which is why this is the correct cloth for Finest Wipe before a coating.
On glass, closed pile prevents the redeposition that causes streaking, which matters on a surface every customer inspects before they drive away.
