Skyline is the paint coating in ULTRACOAT's InteliGraph series, built on a graphene-ceramic technology you will not find elsewhere. Three active ingredients bond into a single layer: SiO₂ for hardness, SiC for durability and graphene platelets for depth.
The graphene is what you notice first. It pulls the colour out of the paint. Black becomes properly black instead of dark grey. Red becomes more red. Metallics gain depth and solid colours gain saturation, with a clean mirror-like reflection. This is colour, not shine. On newer paint, the graphene can also help reduce how visible fine micro-scratches are.
Underneath the looks, the smart polymer system adapts to what the weather throws at it, so protection holds through hard frost, summer heat, strong UV and cleaners anywhere from pH 2 to 13. It also repairs micro-damage within its own layer, which is part of why it keeps performing for so long. Water is repelled instantly and the car largely cleans itself in the rain.
One layer is all it needs. A second adds nothing, because the formula gives its full hydrophobicity and colour from a single application. Application is straightforward, it can be applied anywhere from 10 °C to 30 °C, and 15 ml covers a medium car, so there is nothing to be nervous about if this is your first coating.

On matte or satin, we recommend an accredited ULTRACOAT PRO studio. Matte has no correction path. On gloss paint a high spot is a polish; on matte it is a respray or a re-wrap. The prep is different too, because the polishing stage that is standard on gloss paint is exactly what ruins a flat finish. Application Guide
Surface. Fully clean, decontaminated and degreased with Finest Wipe.
Application. Shake well. Generous amount on the applicator, crosshatch in 50 × 50 cm sections.
Levelling. Dwell 30 seconds, remove the excess with a clean microfibre, then buff with the dry side.
Conditions. Apply between 10 °C and 30 °C; a wide range of humidity is fine. Work out of direct sunlight and never on hot surfaces.
Safety. Wear a protective mask and gloves throughout application.
Cure. 24 hours minimum. No washing for 7 days.
Skyline sits in ULTRACOAT's InteliGraph series, the graphene-ceramic platform that separates this range from SiO₂-only coatings. Its smart polymer matrix handles what a UK car gets: sustained UV, salted winter roads, sub-zero morning runs, chemicals across pH 2 to 13. The polymers also repair micro-damage within the layer, which is part of why protection holds across the rated period with no top layer.
One layer, full performance. No sandwich, no second coat, no extra labour. The formula reaches optimal film thickness in a single application, which means predictable job time and predictable cost per car. Where a customer wants layering, Skyline goes down as the base and Aurora as the top coat 24 hours later, never Skyline over Skyline.
Colour saturation is what sells it. Black reads as black rather than dark grey, reds go more red, metallics gain depth. Skyline is specified for paint depth; Magnite is specified for substrate range, covering vinyl wrap, PPF and plastics as well as paint. Two different briefs, and two demo panels side by side sell both better than either sells alone. On new or freshly corrected paint, graphene can help soften the appearance of fine micro-scratches.
Dwell time is read, not timed. The 30 seconds is a safe floor, not a fixed figure. Working time depends on temperature, humidity and airflow, and the surface tells you when it is ready: watch for the rainbow effect as the carrier flashes off. In good conditions you can coat a full panel before levelling. Train technicians to work to the rainbow rather than a stopwatch.
Matte and satin vehicles. Skyline is suitable for matte paint and matte PPF and does not alter the flat appearance. Two rules, both non-negotiable. No polishing: the correction stage comes out entirely, because polishing is what destroys a matte finish and it is a reflex on gloss paint. Smaller sections, strict flash discipline: a high spot on gloss is a polish, on matte it is a respray or a re-wrap. Retail customers are directed to accredited studios for matte work rather than sold the bottle, so it arrives as qualified inbound.
